Providing the ideal coaching service for your nutritional and wellness needs.
Andrew Zarate, MSW, RD
As a trained mental health clinician and registered dietitian nutritionist (RD), I know how hard it can be to make a lifestyle change on your own. Whether it's finding the right routine for you, or feeling comfortable trying a new meal, changes seem to be easier when you have someone to do them with.
As your health coach, I hope to create a partnership with you and your team in order to create an individualized plan for you. Through this process, I hope that making your change is easy yet challenging, structured yet free flowing, and above all fun.
Prior to starting my private practice, I was the Senior Dietitian at BALANCE eating disorder treatment center and oversaw the nutrition programs including the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Day Time Program (DTP), Adolescent Outpatient Program (AOP), Men's Group, and Meal Support Groups. Additionally, I have also worked as a dietitian, health educator, and workshop facilitator in HIV/AIDS, the LGBT community, public health settings, and addiction recovery programs.
I earned my Masters of Social Work (MSW) from New York University, and Bachelors of Science in nutrition and dietetics from Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. I also completed my dietetic internship in public health nutrition at Hunter College School of Public Health.
